Current Opportunities: Restaurant Manager A full time position is currently available at the Holiday Inn Downtown. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years supervisory and restaurant management experience while possessing wind knowledge. Candidates must possess a strong customer service focus with the ability to provide the finest guest dining experience while leading and coaching a dynamic staff. Candidate must successfully complete a background screening and a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or Business Administration is preferred. Schedule flexibility is required. The primary responsibility of the Banquet Server is to provide prompt and professional service to guests at all meeting, banquet, and catering functions. To provide excellent service, the Banquet Server assists the Banquet Porter in setting the function area was well as performing all prep work in advance. In addition the Banquet Server maintains cleanliness of and keeps all meeting rooms, office areas, banquet hallways and equipment in order. Applications may be picked up at the Holiday Inn Front Desk. Laundry Person A part-time position is currently available at the Holiday Inn Downtown. The primary responsibility of the Laundry Person is to count, sort and prepare all soiled linen to include but not limited to bed sheets, comforters, table linens, napkins, etc. The Laundry Person then washes, dries, and presses all articles. Once all articles are clean, the Laundry Person will count, stack, and store/deliver the clean linens to the proper storage areas. Applications may be picked up at the Holiday Inn Front Desk. Host/Hostess A part-time position is currently available at the Holiday Inn Downtown. The primary goal of the Host/Hostees is to offer all Harrigans Cafe and Wine Deck dining patrons a professional, timely, friendly and comfortable experience. The Host/Hostees is to supervise all activities of servers and bus persons to ensure proper guest service and satisfaction. The Host/Hostees greets, escorts, and presents guests with clean menus while offering hospitable, courteous, and rapid service. Applications may be picked up at the Holiday Inn Front Desk. Guest Service Representative Two positions, 1 part-time and 1 full-time, are currently available at the Holiday Inn Downtown. The main goal of the Guest Service Representative is to ensure guest satisfaction and comfort by providing courteous, efficient, and personalized services to all hotel guest. The Guest Service Representative is responsible for all aspects of the reservation process by checking guests in and out of the hotel, handling payments, answering telephone, maintaining guest security at all times, and acting as a resource center for all guest requests. Applications may be picked up at the Holiday Inn Front Desk. Restaurant Server / AM Position A part-time position is currently available at the Holiday Inn Downtown. The primary responsibility of the Morning Restaurant Server is to provide prompt and professional service and sales to all Harrigans Cafe and Wine Deck guests. To provide excellent service, the Restaurant Server properly sets all tables and performs all prep work in advance. In addition the Restaurant Server maintains cleanliness of and keeps all dining areas, kitchen areas, storage areas, office areas, hallways, and equipment in order. Applications may be picked up at the Holiday Inn Front Desk. Line Cook A part-time position is currently available at the Holiday Inn Downtown. The Line Cook prepares and cooks menu items for Harrigans Cafe and Wine Deck patrons in accordance with established standards and procedures. Applications may be picked up at the Holiday Inn Front Desk. Dishwasher A part-time position is currently available at the Holiday Inn Downtown. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upholding sanitation standards for all china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. using the automatic dishwashing machine and manual cleaning methods. In addition the Dishwasher will ensure the dishwashing area is maintained in a safe, clean, and sanitary manner. Applications may be picked up at the Holiday Inn Front Desk. |
